Not entirely sure if this is a request, but I decided to take a break and just talk about the Wolfgang ships I dig!
Helga/Wolfgang: Basically I have this idea that Wolfgang is just really into women - especially powerful women or confident women and so Helga is just… oh man, he is INTO her. He thinks she is the hottest shit and her yelling at him is basically foreplay to him. He purposefully does shit to piss her off because DAMN she is sexy when she’s mad.
They totally don’t work out because, while Helga’s anger is a large part of her and not a bad thing, it’s not exactly the healthiest? She needs someone to put her at ease sometimes and Wolfgang… just raises her blood pressure. Haha.
Rhonda/Wolfgang: It’s like Helga/Wolfgang except her anger runs a lot colder. He pisses her off and she freezes up on him, which basically makes him feel like a shit. So generally he tries not to piss her off. They mostly just fool around and treat each other like a trophy boyfriend/girlfriend. IDK. It’s not serious. Rhonda literally thinks of him as an object and has absolutely no opinion/concerns about his actual personality. He’s more into her than she is into him, but not stupid enough to think there’s any permanence….
Nadine/Wolfgang: Basically, she doesn’t react to him AT ALL and that drives him up a wall. My Nadine is just so oblivious to a lot of social and romantic gestures. She’s completely fixated on her work with bugs. And the fact that she ignores Wolfgang is what drives him to pursue her? Haha. He’s a mess. IDK, if it ever works out, but Wolfgang being genuinely smitten with someone makes me smile.
